Papers of Sina Hutchinson Ford, a teacher in St. Joseph County and Kalamazoo County schools. Her grandfather was James Hutchinson, Park Township supervisor, surveyor, and farmer. Papers include her diaries, 1889-1965, and the diaries of Mrs. S.D. Hutchinson, 1911-1912; and James Hutchinson, 1852-1865. James Hutchinson's diaries contain notes of daily events, weather, surveyor's activities, and township supervisor's business. The collection also includes papers about St. Joseph County and Kalamazoo County schools; Park Township materials; and Hutchinson and Ford family correspondence.
